On May 18, 2023, a “Memorandum of Understanding on Friendship Exchange” was signed between Yoichi Town, Hokkaido and Changhua County, Taiwan, and on May 19, 2023, between Yoichi Town, Hokkaido and Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, Taiwan, respectively.
The president of HSPB participated in the signing ceremony as a member of the Japanese delegation. The signing ceremony was attended by a large number of local media, indicating the high expectations for the new exchange.
The cities will deepen their relationship in the fields of tourism and agriculture, with wine and whiskey as the main focus. HSPB will provide full support not only in the fields of wine and whiskey, but also in cultural exchange, and will also deepen exchanges between companies in both countries.
